‘Cause I’m leavin’ on a jet plane’ MD-88 takes off (my Picture) from Gerald Ford International Airport, Grand Rapids. Michigan. Taken from the beautiful “bird watchers” observation Park.
Watching ‘take off’s’ and landing’s is exilirating and inspiring. It always feels like a miracle.
Yet, on the plane and in the airport some are exited and full of hope while others are sad, hurt and in pain. Some are saying a goodbye forever while others are on a journey of love and hope.
All this as ones life cycle keeps spinning to the unknown. “Like a circle in a spiral, like a wheel within a wheal… ” https://lnkd.in/eqg49ii
“All my bags are packed I’m ready to go I’m standin’ here outside your door I hate to wake you up to say goodbye But the dawn is breakin’ It’s early morn The taxi’s waitin’ He’s blowin’ his horn Already I’m so lonesome I could die.
So kiss me and smile for me Tell me that you’ll wait for me Hold me like you’ll never let me go ‘Cause I’m leavin’ on a jet plane Don’t know when I’ll be back again Oh babe, I hate to go”
